Facials, Chemical Peels & Dermaplaning in Frisco, TX
Between Frisco’s dry summers, hard water and heavily air-conditioned offices, skin here takes more of a beating than people realise. Most patients who come to us from Frisco are not chasing a dramatic transformation — they want their skin to stop looking tired, and they want it to stay that way.
The Spa by RescueMD is a physician-supervised medical spa in Allen, about 15 to 20 minutes from Frisco, under the medical direction of Dr. Olubukola Okoro, MD. We are not located in Frisco — we are a short drive away, and a good number of our patients make that drive precisely because of the supervision.

Three Treatments, Three Different Jobs
These treatments are often lumped together as ‘facials’, but they do genuinely different things — and picking the wrong one is the most common way people waste money on their skin.
Custom Facials — Maintenance and Hydration
A facial is cleansing, exfoliation, extraction where needed, and hydration, tailored to your skin on the day. It is the treatment that keeps skin in good condition rather than dramatically changing it. Best used regularly, which is what the monthly membership is designed for.
Dermaplaning — Instant Smoothness and Glow
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to remove dead surface cells and the fine vellus hair that dulls the light your skin reflects. The result is immediate: smoother texture, noticeably better makeup application, and much better absorption of your skincare products. No downtime at all, which makes it the treatment of choice before an event. And no, the hair does not grow back thicker or darker — that is a myth.
Chemical Peels — Tone, Pigmentation and Texture
A Chemical Peel accelerates cell turnover so that fresher skin comes to the surface. This is the strongest of the three for uneven tone, sun damage, pigmentation and congestion. The light peel brightens with minimal downtime; the 3-Step works deeper and involves some visible flaking for a few days.
Which One Should You Book?
If your skin looks dull and you want a glow before an event, book dermaplaning. If you want to keep your skin in consistently good condition, book a facial and make it monthly. If your concern is uneven tone, sun damage or pigmentation, book a peel. If you are not sure, come in for an assessment and we will tell you honestly which one addresses what is actually bothering you.
If you’re looking for broader options to improve skin tone, texture and overall appearance, explore our skin rejuvenation treatments.
Can They Be Combined?
Yes, and combining is often the best value. Dermaplaning immediately before a facial or a light peel allows the products to penetrate far more effectively. What we will not do is stack aggressive treatments in the same week — your skin needs recovery time between them, and ignoring that causes irritation rather than faster results.
What Happens Between Appointments Matters More
No in-clinic treatment outperforms a consistent home routine. We stock professional-grade skincare from ZO Skincare and SkinBetter Science, at 10% off with any treatment, and your provider will tell you which products are actually worth your money for your skin — and which you can skip.
Getting Here from Frisco
We are at 945 Stockton Dr., Suite 6140, Allen, TX 75013 — about 15 to 20 minutes from Frisco, east along the Sam Rayburn Tollway and then a short run up US-75. If you are coming from the The Star, Stonebriar Centre and Frisco Square area, allow a little longer at peak times.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I get a facial?
Monthly is the sweet spot for most skin. Your skin cycle runs roughly 28 days, so monthly treatment works with that renewal rather than against it. That is why the membership is structured the way it is.
Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker or darker?
No. This is the most persistent myth about the treatment. Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair at the surface; it does not affect the follicle, so hair returns exactly as it was.
Is there downtime after a chemical peel?
The light peel has minimal downtime — some mild redness for a few hours. The 3-Step peel involves visible flaking for several days, so plan it away from events.
Which is better for acne — a facial or a peel?
It depends on whether the issue is congestion or the aftermath. Facials with extraction help with active congestion; Peels are more effective for post-acne marks, hyperpigmentation and uneven texture. For more targeted concerns, see our acne treatment options. Often the answer is a course combining both.
Can I have a facial if I have sensitive skin?
Yes — that is precisely why the facial is customised rather than a fixed protocol. Tell your provider about any sensitivity or reactions and the treatment will be adjusted accordingly.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
After a facial or dermaplaning, yes, though we would suggest giving your skin a few hours. After a peel, wait until any flaking has settled.
Are chemical peels safe for darker skin tones?
Many are, but formulation and depth matter — some peels carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation in deeper skin tones. We assess this individually rather than applying the same protocol to everyone.
How far is your med spa from Frisco?
We are in Allen, about 15 to 20 minutes from most of Frisco — east on the Sam Rayburn Tollway and then a short run up US-75 to 945 Stockton Dr., Suite 6140.
Do you have a location in Frisco?
No. We have one location, in Allen at 945 Stockton Dr., Suite 6140, and we serve patients across Frisco, Plano, McKinney and North Dallas from there. Keeping a single site is deliberate — it is how we keep the same team and the same physician oversight on every treatment.
Is parking easy?
Yes. There is free parking directly outside the suite, which is a meaningful difference from the shopping-centre locations many aesthetic clinics operate from.
